After a string of flops, Hindi film is back with a bang at the box office thanks to Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, which have both succeeded in putting smiles on the faces of viewers and distributors. And just now, Ajay and Varun congratulate one another on their accomplishment on social media.
Actor Varun Dhawan shared pictures of himself interacting with fans and wrote, “#Bhediya has given me so much love it feels amazing to see so many people coming to the theatres. A special Sunday as #Dhrishyam2 and #Bhediya give a lot of happiness to all cinema lovers congratulations @ajaydevgn sir and @AbhishekPathakk.”
Replying to Varun on social media, superstar Ajay Devgn wrote, “Hey @Varun_dvn, I’m happy Bhediya & Drishyam 2 have managed to bring the audiences back to the theatres. It’s a feel-good moment for us as an Industry. You’re a rockstar.”
Drishyam 2, which stars Ajay Devgn, has enjoyed a spectacular 10 days in theatres, grossing 144 Cr. Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Akshaye Khanna also appear in the Abhishek Pathak-directed movie.
While the Amar Kaushik-directed, Dinesh Vijan-financed film Bhediya, which stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and others, has made close to 40 Cr at the box office.
Currently, Bholaa, Maidaan, Naam, and Cirkus are keeping Ajay Devgn busy. Varun is now wrapping up Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor.
