Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur collaborate for the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film, ‘Thadam’, directed by Vardhan Ketkar. Yet to be titled thriller will go on floors in October this year. Mrunal shared her picture with Aditya on social media to announced her participation in the action thriller.
Recently Aditya Roy Kapur has created a stir with the announcement of joining the Hindi remake of Thadam. Now Mrunal Thakur has joined the team as the female lead opposite Aditya. taking Twitter, Mrunal Thakur shared her picture with actor Aditya Roy Kapur, and she wrote,” ‘It’s time for a face-off!! #AdityaRoyKapur are you ready? Super excited to work in the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit, #Thadam, to be directed by #VardhanKetkar. Produced by # BhushanKumar’s @TSeries & MuradKhetani @Cine1Studios @aseem_arora.”
The film will be an action-thriller, inspired by actual events produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. Magizh Thirumeni directed the original movie, starring Arun Vijay, Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat, and Vidya Pradeep. The film’s plot revolves around the murder of a young man and an exciting turn when the key accused is found to have a look-alike.
On the work front, Mrunal was last seen in Movie Toofaan, opposite Farhan Akhtar. Now she has Movie ‘Jersey’ co-starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.
