Late Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava’s son Avitesh Shrivastava is ready to make his Bollywood debut as an actor with Sirf Ek Friday. Amitabh Bachchan welcomed him into the film industry by sharing the film’s first look poster on social media.
Taking to Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan shared the film’s first look posters. He captioned it, “Avitesh… your Father Aadesh built some great music creativity… May you add another feather to his cap… My wishes ever for your launch .. #SirfEkFriday.”
Shahenshah of Bollywood shared two film posters. One features Avitesh Shrivastava and the other with actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar with his hair tied in a ponytail and enjoying a smoke. The posters have the tagline, which reads, “A modern-day tale of Dronacharya and Ekalavya.”
Directed by Lloyd Baptista and produced by Deepak Mukut, Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla. Sirf Ek Friday revolves around a young adult who comes from a life filled with money, cars, parties and friends. Now he decides to follow his mother’s dream of becoming an actor, and he goes to tedious training, which makes him realize the true emotions of life. According to the ANI report, Speaking about the film, Avitesh said, “It’s such a huge honour and privilege for me to be a part of this film. I was deeply moved by the story. It hit home the very instant I read it. It’s the kind of film that takes an actor through a personal journey of self-exploration, and that’s so exciting for me. I can’t wait to start shooting.”
