Actor Varun Dhawan shared a first look poster of his upcoming film Bhediya. The horror-comedy movie is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. With the first look, poster makers also revealed the new release date of Bhediya. The film also stars Kriti Sanon.
Varun shared the film’s first look poster on his Twitter handle, and he captioned the post, “Issi din agle saal, milte hai #Bhediya se. Releasing on 25th November, 2022 in cinemas worldwide!#BhediyaFirstLook.”
The poster shows Varun in a ferocious never before seen avatar. He is staring intensely with beast-like glowing yellow eyes. On the poster, the title Bhediya is written in such a way, showing blood-red scratches of claw marks.
Makers of the film create a breathtaking world through the magic of visual effects. Hollywood’s premier effects studio Mr. X, part of Technicolor Creative Studios, has joined the project touted to be “an exquisite visual effects film.” The studio has worked on Oscar-nominated films Love and Monsters, as well as the Emmy-winning show Vikings.
Bhediya is the third film of producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe after Stree and Roohi — both starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead. Speaking about the collaboration with Mr. X, Dinesh Vijan said, “Mr. X has been a pioneer in the industry, having created some of the most spellbinding visual masterpieces of recent movie history. Ever since we conceptualized Bhediya’, we knew our film needed the expertise of Mr. X to weave that epic scale,” As Reported in the ANI.
Bhediya will hit the theatres on November 25, 2022.
