The trailer of Atrangi Re was released on Wednesday, starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead role. The core of the film is a complicated love triangle between leading stars. Directed by Aanand L Rai.
Akshay shared the film’s trailer on Twitter with the caption, “It’s time to feel the madness of this love story. #AtrangiRe Trailer out.”
As the name suggests, the trailer of Atrangi Re appears to be Atrangi (weird). Actors Sara and Dhanush’s characters, Rinku and Vishnu, respectively, marry each other forcefully without their will and wish. Vishnu gets abducted to wed Rinku. The couple, after marriage, decides to separate as they are strangers, and the wedding was against their wish.
However, Akshay’s role in the movie can’t be judged from the trailer. He has an unusual and vivid appearance with some strong connection with Rinku. Further, you will find Rinku trying to convince Vishnu that she wants to stay with him and the other guy in her life, making the situation strange and complex for Vishnu.
Written by Himanshu Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape Of Good Films. Atrangi Re is Dhanush’s second film with Aanand L Rai; they worked together in the 2013 film Ranjhanaa. It is Akshay’s first film with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush.
Atrangi Re will release on December 24 on the streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar.
