Since Monday, actor Kamal Haasan has been under treatment at a hospital in Chennai after testing positive for COVID 19. On Wednesday, his daughter Shruti Haasan shared an update about her dad’s health, saying he is recovering well.
Shruti expressed gratitude towards well-wishers for their prayers and gave an update about her dad’s health on Twitter. She wrote, “Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my father’s health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon!!”
Kamal Haasan, on Monday, informed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. In a tweet in Tamil, he revealed that the mild cough following his return from the US. Kamal is currently undergoing treatment at Sri Ramchandra Medical Centre, Chennai.
Reportedly, Shruti will take over the hosting duties of ‘Bigg Boss 5’ till her father is in a position to get back to the sets. The official announcement on the same is expected pretty soon, as the weekend episodes shooting has to start by Thursday.
Kamal Haasan’s upcoming projects include the action film ‘Vikram’ and the long-awaited ‘Indian-2’. He also hosts the reality TV show “Bigg Boss Tamil” season 5 on the Star Vijay channel.
