The upcoming film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui makers have released the trailer on Monday, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. It is a bit different from the regular love stories. The film marks the first-ever collaboration between Ayushmann and Vaani. Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Pragya Kapoor’s Guy In the Sky Pictures.
T-Series shared the trailer of the film on their Twitter handle. They captioned the post, “Everything is fair in AASHIQUI! Promising to keep you on your toes with this mind-boggling love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui, trailer out now. In cinemas on 10th Dec.”
The trailer opens with Ayushmann’s character Manvinder Munjal, a weightlifting champion and fitness trainer in Chandigarh. He falls in love with Maanvi, a new Zumba instructor in his gym, played by Vaani. Things go awry when Manvinder knows that Maanvi is not what he has been thinking all along. Shocked, Manvinder feels betrayed and starts maintaining distance from her. She reportedly plays a transgender character.
Anubhav Sinha directs Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The film wrapped its shoot in late December last year. It was the first Indian film to complete the entire movie during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is ready for its theatrical release on December 10, 2021.
