Actor Dhanush impressed the audience with his action drama film Karnan. Mari Selvaraj directed the film. Karnan received an overwhelming response from the fans. Now the film has got special status. Karnan has been selected for the New Generation Independent Indian Film Festival in Frankfurt, Germany.
The film ‘Karnan’ has received international recognition. Director Mari Selvaraj shared this news on his Twitter handle. He posted a films poster featuring Dhanush and captioned it, “#Karnan for the New Generations- Independent Indian Film Festival, Frankfurt.”
Karnan was released in theatres on April 9 2021, and it turned out as a blockbuster. The film got released on Amazon Prime Video on May 14. The film’s story focuses on a young man’s fight for the rights of his village. Dhanush has played the titular character of Karnan in the movie. He got a lot of appreciation from his fans.
Karnan, a Tamil-language action drama directed by Mari Selvaraj and bankrolled by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. Along with Dhanush, the film also stars Lal, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, and Rajisha Vijayan in pivotal roles. Santhosh Narayanan scored music and cinematography handled by Theni Eswar.
Karnan film received an overwhelming response from the audience. But due to the second wave of covid-19, the film had to be removed from the theatres within a few weeks of its release. Then the movie got released on Amazon Prime Video.
