The trailer of his latest film was launched at a grand event at Shiv Cinema in Ahmedabad on Monday.

The film’s lead cast, including Shyam Nair, Tarjanee, Vrunda Trivedi, Ruchita Chotani and Ankit Brahmbhatt, along with the rest of the team, attended the trailer launch event. The dark visuals and mysterious atmosphere showcased in the trailer left the audience intrigued and captivated.

Speaking about the film, lead actor Shyam Nair said, “Working on this film was both physically and mentally challenging for me. The story of ‘Kabanda’ is so intense that even during the shoot, we experienced the eerie atmosphere ourselves. I believe this film will set a new benchmark in Gujarati cinema.”

Actress Tarjanee said, “This role is completely different from anything I have done in my career so far. The horror element of the film is not limited to visuals alone, but is deeply embedded in the story as well. I am confident that audiences will enjoy this fresh and unique experience.”

The film is based on a haunting legend that resurfaces, a subject rarely explored in Gujarati cinema. Music composed by Pallav Barua further intensifies the film’s eerie atmosphere. Produced by Vedant Maheshwari and Rehan Chaudhary, the film combines a bold subject with high-quality production.

Director Rehan Chaudhary said, “We wanted to give Gujarati film audiences something they had never experienced before. ‘Kabanda’ is not just a horror film, but a deep mystery. We are extremely encouraged by the response the trailer has received.”

Producer Vedant Maheshwari expressed happiness over the making of the film and said that he immediately agreed to back the project after hearing the story.
