The Hindi Cinema was gifted its ultimate Hero 38 Years ago, Anil Kapoor, known as the energizer of the industry. In 1983, his first film in a lead role was released. It turned out to be a huge hit, establishing Anil Kapoor as a promising newcomer in the film industry. Padmini Kolhapuri was opposite Anil Kapoor in this film. The film was produced by Anil Kapoor’s father, Surinder Kapoor and brother Boney Kapoor.
Anil Kapoor has shared a throwback post on social media, “It’s been 38 years since Woh Saat Din’s release. And in these 38 years, you all put me on the pinnacle of success. Just keep giving me your love like this for the next 38 years. I will try to stay on this peak with my hard work and your love. Thank you” (Translated in English), Anil Kapoor wrote in a tweet. He also posted a picture from the film, as Prem Pratap Baajewala and a recent photo.
Padmini Kolhapure played Maya in Woh Saat Din; posted a picture from the movie on Instagram with the caption, Wow, what an experience this was and behind the scenes with all my great technicians! Great DOP! Great director! Great actors! And great producer! That made this film iconic.”
In Film, Anil played an aspiring musician, Prem Pratap. Movie directed by late filmmaker Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana, who was best known as Bapu. The film also starred renowned actors such as Naseeruddin Shah, Dina Pathak, Jagdeep and Satish Kaushik.
