Today, May 21, is Malayalam actor Mohanlal’s 64th Birthday. Because of his outstanding performances, the veteran actor has carved out a unique place in viewers’ hearts. Malaikottai Vaaliban, released in January, featured Mohanlal’s last on-screen appearance. However, it appears that the Malayalam star has no plans to take a break from work. He has been accepting projects back-to-back. On this special occasion, the filmmakers revealed the new action-thriller poster for his upcoming movie L2: Empuraan. In it, the Drishyam alum plays the much awaited role of Khureshi Abraam.
In the first look poster of L2: Empuraan, Mohanlal is presented in a distinct all-black avatar. His ensemble, consisting of matching trousers, a leather jacket over a T-shirt, and orange-tinted aviator sunglasses, exudes a unique style. His bearded facial hair adds to his charismatic look. Walking amidst a group of bodyguards, all ready for action, Mohanlal’s intense expression and lack of weapons symbolize his power and control.
L2: Empuraan is set to captivate audiences in five different languages: Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, as revealed in the poster. Mohanlal unveiled the poster on his Instagram account, adding a personal touch to the announcement.
L2: Empuraan is the follow-up to Mohanlal’s hugely successful 2019 film Lucifer. It is the second part of the planned trilogy, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
