Neeyat’s makers gave viewers a sneak peek at the film’s mysterious world before its eagerly anticipated theatrical debut. Before the trailer’s release tomorrow, the filmmakers revealed an intriguing teaser and 11 character posters presenting Vidya Balan’s role, detective Mira Rao, and the ten suspects. Each of the posters portrays an attractive image of the main characters, piquing our interest in the trailer even more than the teaser, which gives us a glimpse into the mysterious world of the murder mystery.
Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri, Shahana Goswami, Danesh Razvi, Dipannita Sharma, Shashank Arora, Niki Walia and Prajakta Koli are among the outstanding ensemble actors in Neeyat, which also stars Vidya Balan as the female lead. The poster shows Vidya Balan with several sweaters layered on top of her, while Ram Kapoor and others can be seen standing to her right in the sliding glass door mirror.
Anu Menon, who last helmed Vidya Balan in the superhit film “Shakuntala Devi” in 2020, is behind the camera for the classic whodunnit. The critically renowned international television series “Killing Eve” has had several episodes directed by Anu Menon. Priya Venkataraman, Anu Menon, Advaita Kala, Girvani Dhyani, and Kausar Munir wrote the dialogue for Neeyat.
Neeyat is a gripping suspense story about an unlikely detective (Vidya Balan) who investigates a mysterious murder at a billionaire’s party where nothing is as it seems and all suspects hide a secret or two. The movie is produced by Abundantia Entertainment, headed by Vikram Malhotra, who earlier created Shakuntala Devi and co-produced by Prime Video.
On July 7, 2023, Neeyat will only be available in theatres.
