Since its announcement, Lust Stories 2 has generated a ton of excitement. A few weeks ago, the trailer for Netflix’s second instalment of the acclaimed anthology movie Lust Stories was unveiled. Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Neena Gupta, Tillotama Shome, Angad Bedi, Amruta Subhash and Mrunal Thakur are among the talented ensemble cast members in Lust Stories 2. Four posters for Lust Stories 2—one for each of the anthology’s short films—were released by the creators yesterday, along with the announcement that the trailer will be released today. Finally, the trailer for Lust Stories 2 is available, and it looks fantastic!
Neena Gupta compares the human body to a “volcano like Mount Fuji” that can only be fulfilled when it bursts in the opening of the trailer for Lust Stories 2. When Tillotama Shome sees what she has witnessed, the trailer depicts her in shock. Then, Kumud Mishra and Kajol are shown, and he can be seen questioning why she fired their domestic worker. Kajol responds that she left herself and didn’t fire her. After that, Neena begins to advise Angad and Mrunal in the trailer.
After that, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma’s story is shown, and Vijay is shown questioning why she left him ten years ago. They shouldn’t be doing this, Tamannaah argues, since he is now married. Kajol posted the Lust Stories 2 trailer on her social media. She penned, “Ab violin bhi bajega, dil bhi dhadakega aur thoda lust aur bath Sara pyaar bhi hoga #LustStories2, releasing on 29th June, only on @netflix_in.”
The movie, made of four short film segments, is helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh.
