A blonde junkie tries to turn her life around in the first official trailer released by Apple for the comic-caper series High Desert, but she has no idea how.
Stars of the show include Bernadette Peters, Christine Taylor, Carmine Giovinazzo, Carlo Rota, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, Matt Dillon, Rupert Friend, and Patricia Arquette.
Following Peggy (Patricia Arquette), an on-again, off-again addict who lives with her mother in the small desert town of Yucca Valley, California, High Desert follows Peggy as she chooses to make a fresh start and decides to become a private investigator.
Matt Dillon will play Denny, Peggy’s ex, an undeniably charming parolee, and a relentless operator.
High Desert is a series created by and written by Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford, and Jennifer Hoppe-House. Helmed by Jay Roach, the series is slated for May 17th, 2023 release.
