Following the release of the first look poster, the family drama Kanjoos Makhichos, starring Kunal Kemmu and Shweta Tripathi, has released its first official trailer.

As Jamnaprasad Pandey, Kunal Kemmu is a miser who favours a simple lifestyle. Piyush Mishra and Alka Amin play his parents, and he is married to Shweta Tripathi. Jamnaprasad sends his parents on a pilgrimage one lovely day, and when they both perish in floods, the government compensates for the lost lives.
The ball is now in motion since local officials deceived Jamnaprasad into accepting a lower salary. Still, because he is stingy, he ends up causing a scandal that makes up the entire narrative.
Vipul Mehta is the writer and director of Kanjoos Makhichoos. An adaption of the wildly popular Gujarati play “Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo” is a comedy-drama. Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, Rajiv Gupta, and the late Raju Srivastav are also featured in the movie. The movie is exclusively available for streaming on ZEE5 as of March 24, 2023.
