It is Sensually scary when a young couple, Sanjana (Bipasha Basu) and Aditya (Dino Morea), have a marriage problem and decide to take a trip. Spirit harasses, and later they find that spirit belongs to a girl named Malini who was in love with her husband in the past.
2- Bhoot
Bhoot is a horror movie conceived as a play about retaliation. Here, a couple rents a house and later finds out that a girl who had previously been residing there had died by suicide. When Vishal notices Swati acting suspiciously and eventually killing the watchman in a fit of rage, his previously held agnosticism about ghosts is challenged.
3- Darna mana hai
It is a movie with various narratives in it. Here six friends entertain themselves with supernatural horror tales after they have to find shelter in an abandoned house in a forest after their car breaks down. And here it all begins. This movie is a thrill that will give goosebumps for sure.
4- Bulbul
It is a Netflix Indian film based on black magic and witchcraft. It’s the story of a little girl named Bulbul who was married off to a wealthy older man. Things start getting complicated when men in the village start dying. Bulbul herself is a witch who kills men who torture women.
The cinematography of this movie captures every essence of the screenplay required to make its viewers have sleepless nights.
5- Stree
Stree is a comedy-horror hybrid and is also claimed to be based on a true story. During the four days of pooja held in honour of a local deity, a tiny town purportedly located in MP becomes plagued by an entity.
6- 1920
1920 is one of the horror movies you will see in Indian cinema with a love story. It is a movie where a couple starts staying in Palampur, and that’s when paranormal activities start happening around them. Lisa, the actress, is eventually possessed by a demon and Arjun. The actor’s main aim is to save her.
7- Bhool Bhulaiya
Bhool Bhulaiya is primarily a psychological horror movie that gripped the audience’s attention. An NRI couple decides to visit their birthplace and
stay in their ancestral home in the story. The pair ignores repeated indications that the house is haunted despite repeated warnings from everyone around them, and they choose to remain there, nonetheless. As a result, the wife is taken over by Manjulika’s spirit.
8- Ek Thi Daayan
This movie is about a magician who keeps having hallucinations about meeting a witch. The witch needs a human sacrifice and prepares his adopted son Zubin (Bhavesh Balchandani) as a victim. Here, some scenes did give you genuine chills.
9- Tumbbad
Tumbbad weaves a tale about avarice and how, like a curse, it is passed down from generation to generation. It corrupts everyone it comes into contact with out of our folklore, mythology, and morality stories.
10- Ragini MMS
The couple in this movie decides to go on a trip outside town, but the guy secretly plans to tape-record their private moments together. When they witness paranormal activity nearby, things take a terrible turn.
