Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the highly anticipated August 15 release of Stree 2, his next big project. The excitement is palpable as the makers have unveiled a captivating new poster featuring Rajkummar Rao, which has already set the internet abuzz with fan reactions. Shraddha Kapoor will be stepping into the lead role, adding to the anticipation.
Rajkummar Rao posted a picture of himself holding his hands to form a heart on his Instagram account. He penned, “Je tailor hai, je aashiq hai…arey je toh Chanderi ke राजकुमार hai! 2 din mein aa rahe hain, inhe dekhne aaiyega zaroor.”
The story picks up where the first part left off. This time, Chanderi is under a new threat, not from Stree. Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Rajkummar, Abhishek, and other Chanderi residents are on a mission to confront a new monster. Pankaj Tripathi introduces the ‘Sarkata,’ a menacing headless monster. Shraddha Kapoor steps in as their protector. Instead of the familiar ‘O stree kal aana,’ the people pray to her this time, ‘O stree raksha karna.’ The new characters and storyline promise an intriguing twist.
The main characters in the movie are Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. In 2018, Stree was released. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews when it debuted and became a financial success at the box office.
